Such a Princess!What a fantastic weekend! Friday night began with rehearsal at the church followed by a delicious meal at the City Cafe! Thanks for Dean and Susan.
Saturday started off early with Kathryn's Hair Salon appointment at 11AM followed by her manicure. We had a few minutes to spare before we made our way to the church to get dressed for pictures and then.... the wedding! Once Kathryn was dressed... we made a few practice runs down the aisle and up the stairs to make sure that she wouldn't slip in her "heels". I went to sit down in the front about 20 minutes before the wedding so that I could enjoy the beautiful music. Beautiful solo, Tad! Once I saw Kathryn make her way down the aisle... tearing started flowing. I couldn't help myself. She was simply beautiful and threw the petals just as instructed. She was perfect! The wedding itself was perfect! A beautiful reception was enjoyed by all in the Fellowship Hall. The "After" Party at the Hixson's House was delighful. Delicious food, great music and fun company made the party such fun. Kathryn especially enjoyed her first slow dance with her fellow ringbearer, Hunter! Picture to follow!
