Defrosting by the Fire!I was up at 5:30 a.m. this morning, once again, disappointed that we didn't get as much snow as predicted, checked the news to discover GDS's one hour delay and rolled back over. A quick recheck of the news at 7:30 a.m.... YEAH, we are out for the day! We enjoyed a relaxed breakfast and quickly got all bundled up for some fun in the snow. Our steep hill on our driveway had quite a bit of snow... so John got out the baking sheet and Kathryn headed down the hill. Before you think any further... YES, I was nervous, but I stood at the bottom of the hill prepared to stop her before she got near the curb. Kathryn and Mary Claire had a ball and enjoyed the snow while it lasted. The Ginthers enjoyed the "baking sheet" ride down the hill and few times and then we headed in to defrost. Such fun memories in the making... the last time it snowed, Mary Claire was a small infant and I had her bundled up in a huge snow suit. Mary Catherine has those pics... need to get them for her to post. Let's hope that we'll get a larger snow soon before Springtime arrives!
